Angie's List is a company that originated in Columbus, OH by Angie Hicks. They are now nationwide and in dozens of major cities. Angie's list is a member supported business. Approximately thirty thousand homeowners in Columbus, OH pay a small annual fee to Angie's List in order to have access to "the list". A company can not pay to be on Angie's list. The only way to get put on Angie's list is when a company actually does work for a member, and then that member will put them on the list and give remarks and feedback on that company. That way, all the members in Columbus can find out the ratings of any kind of service company they need.

Below is an actual page of my company's ratings for different service categories. Reports stay "current" for two years and since I have been down here in Athens for most of the last two years and building my house, most of the reports are from a year or couple years before but they are still counted under "total reports"...After customers have work done by any service company, they will give a grade on that company from A,B,C,D, or F. My service ratings for every one of my categories averaged an "A" rating.
